BOONE COUNTY, Indiana (WTHR) - A Carmel woman is accused of taking $20,000 from a Zionsviille man in what investigators call a case of home improvement fraud.
Trina Thigpen owns T & T Painting. According to our partners at The Lebanon Reporter, she was arrested Friday for allegedly never finishing the job her company was hired to do.
She claims she bought the materials for the project and that an employee stole them, so she filed an insurance claim. But police never found any proof of the purchase or the claim.
Thigpen will go to trial in February.
