CARMEL, Ind. (WTHR) – Fans of "The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers" are getting a sneak peek at the much anticipated shop coming to the Carmel City Center.
The owner, Gwendolyn Rogers, shared a little tour of the inside as well as some more photos of the new location on Facebook.
"2 1/2 years of planning, lots of hard work and the exterior is finally complete," Rogers wrote on Facebook Monday.
The shop hosted a career fair back in May and the new staff began training on Monday.
The Cake Bake Shop is known for it's sparkling antique decor and rich French-inspired cakes.
The cake shop has been recognized by Oprah's O List, Williams-Sonoma, has been awarded Best Bakery Indy's A-List 2017, Certificate of Excellence and has been featured on Food Network, 'Home & Family' and Indy Monthly.
