INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Two of our favorite mascots have the chance to be hall of famers, but they need your help.
The Indianapolis Colts' Blue and Indiana Pacers' Boomer are two of 19 nominees up for consideration to join the National Mascot Hall of Fame.

The first round of voting is open and ends Saturday, Oct. 12. Seven mascots will move on to the final round of voting, which takes place Oct. 20 - 26.
Blue was named NFL Mascot of the Year in 2016 and 2019 and is very involved in the community with over 100 school shows each year.
Boomer uses his athletic and comedic abilities to win over fans of all ages and earned the Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Award from VisitIndy in 2015.
