WASHINGTON (WTHR) - We're hearing from the attorney of some of Larry Nassar's victims after a new Congressional report finds a "systemic failure to act" by multiple agencies.
For 421 days, USOC, USAG and the FBI knew that Nassar had molested Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Maggie Nichols and failed to stop the coverup of the largest sexual abuse scandal in the history of sports," said John Manly.
He's now calling on the Justice Department to investigate.
In the meantime, senators are proposing bipartisan legislation to improve oversight and prevent future abuse.
USAG says they haven't seen the report or proposed legislation, but said they've "already made numerous changes designed to prevent the opportunity for abuse to occur."
