ANDERSON (WTHR) - An Anderson man is charged with murder after what police say was a drug deal gone bad.
Our partners at the Herald Bulletin report that 26-year-old Nicolas Gray pleaded not guilty during a hearing in Madison County court.
Gray is accused of shooting Jeremy Silvey when he arranged to buy $850 worth of marijuana. Gray could face 45 to 65 years if convicted.
Police say Gray's girlfriend told them that a few days after the shooting that she, Gray and his mother drove to Gary and exchanged the gun used in the crime for another handgun.
