ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPS:

TRUMP TEAM, CARRIER REACH DEAL:
President-elect Donald Trump's team has reached a deal to keep hundreds of Carrier jobs in Indiana. The deal was spearheaded by Vice president-elect Gov. Mike Pence and will keep close to 1,000 factory jobs in Indiana. It will include new inducements from the state. Carrier workers are relieved after hearing the news. Sen. Joe Donnelly said the deal is good news, but is asking Trump to join him in changing laws to encourage companies to grow in the state.

FATAL EAST SIDE SHOOTING:
IMPD says a man was fatally shot around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on Lullwater Lane near the intersection of 30th Street and Cumberland Road on the city's far east side. Police found the man lying in the street with a gunshot wound. It is not clear if there are any suspects at this time. Learn more.

AT LEAST 3 DEATHS REPORTED IN ALABAMA TORNADO:
At least three people are dead after a tornado moved through Rosalie, Alabama Wednesday morning. A string of storms pushed though the southeast Tuesday night, damaging homes and tearing down trees. Four people were critically injured after a 24-hour daycare was destroyed in Idler, located in DeKalb County, Alabama. Click here.

HOOSIERS ON VACATION AMONG THOSE ESCAPING GATLINBURG FIRES:
Gatlinburg, Tennessee has been destroyed by fast-moving wildfires. More than 14,000 residents and tourists have been forced to evacuate, including a family from Indianapolis. The Marrows told Eyewitness News they barely escaped and are headed home to safety. Read the family's story.
