INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - It's a birthday few people get to celebrate.
An Indianapolis woman will be honored on her 105th birthday this weekend.
Ora Dodson was born in Kentucky on November 12, 1914. She moved to Indianapolis as a child and was one of the first students to attend Crispus Attucks High School.
Dodson's secret for such long life? She says she doesn't really have one.
"Its nothing but a blessing," she said. "Every day, to me, is a day the lord has made and I'm happy in it every day."
Dodson's church is having a celebration Saturday at Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church from 4 to 7 p.m.
