(WTHR) — Believe it or not, it is possible to get through the holidays without gaining weight. That's according to a new British study.
Researchers studied nearly 300 adults divided into two groups.
One group was given tips to manage weight, plus a list of physical activities needed to burn off popular holiday foods and drinks.
They also had to weigh themselves at least twice a week. That group did not gain any weight.
However, the people in the other group were given a pamphlet on healthy living, but did not receive special tips about the holidays. They ended up gaining weight.
