ORLANDO, Fla. (WTHR / CNBC) — Universal Orlando's new Harry Potter-themed rollercoaster is now open, but good luck taking a ride.
Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure had such a buzz about it that the line to ride was up to 10 hours long on Thursday.
The $300 million ride takes you on a mile-long journey through the infamous Forbidden Forest.
It took nearly two years to build and replaces the Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Dragon Challenge roller coasters.
Starting Friday, the park will be using a virtual queue so that fans won’t have to wait around in a massive stand-by line. Parkgoers will be alerted when it is time for them to return.
