Deadline reports writer Tina Fey and musician Jeff Richmond are bringing their Broadway musical, "Mean Girls," to the big screen.

The musical adaptation of the 2004 film debuted on Broadway in March 2018 and received 12 Tony nominations.

No other details have been released, such as casting or release date.

The 2004 film starred Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in a film about female high school cliques.
