Laguna Beach, Calif. (WTHR) — Actor and soap opera star John Clarke has died at 88, according to People.
Clarke had suffered a stroke in 2006 and has had declining health in the past few years.
“He passed peacefully from complications of pneumonia,” an obituary obtained by People read.
Clarke was best known for his roles in "Days of Our Lives," "Twilight Zone," "The Loretta Young Show" and "Gunsmoke."
He was born on April 14, 1931 in South Bend and died Oct. 16, 2019 in Laguna Beach, California.
