INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Rejoice, 'Days of Our Lives' fans! The show is being renewed for another season.
NBC has renewed its longest-running series for a 56th season, Deadline reports.
The show's executive producer, Ken Corday, delivered the news to the cast earlier this week, according to Deadline.
The renewal happened more than week after the entire cast was released from their contracts.
"Days of Our LIves" aired more than 13,000 episodes ago in 1965. The show has won 61 Daytime Emmy Awards.
