INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Avon took the top spot Saturday night in the Bands of America Super Regional at Lucus Oil Stadium.
Avon edged out Carmel for first place in the AAAA category with a score of 92.200 in the finals. Carmel's 91.500 was good for second place.
Avon was recognized for Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance and Outstanding General Effict.

- 5 - Homestead
- 8 - Fishers
- 9 - Lawrence Twp.
- 11 - Castle (2nd place in AAA)
- 12 - Center Grove
- 13 - Brownsburg
Western, Edgewood and Lewis Cass finished 1-2-3, respectively, in Class A.
