INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Metro police wants the public help trying to identify two men who broke into a liquor store overnight Thursday.

The burglars drove to Community Spirits at E. 30th Street and Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue shortly after 5 a.m.

Metro police hope video of the pair is their break in the case as they compare it to other unsolved business burglaries. Video shows the suspects pulled up right to the front door of the store.

During regular business hours, the intersection where Community Spirits is located is one of the busiest on the northeast side.

An inside security camera recorded one of the burglars doing whatever he could to get through the window. His repeated attempts became futile, due to the strength of the glass.

Eventually, he gets frustrated and tries even harder to break through. But the glass on the security window is bulletproof and holds up.

An outside camera recorded the burglars turning their car around, then carrying the store's ATM to the backseat.

Police hope someone recognizes their clothing and their getaway car.

The owner is making some security changes to make sure this kind of theft doesn’t happen again.

If you have any information that could help police in this case call Crime Stoppers at 262 TIPS.
