INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Police are searching for the thieves who stole thousands of dollars from a man by distracting him.
Surveillance photos show the criminals approaching the 68-year-old man inside the Kroger store on Thompson Road near Emerson Avenue.
One of the suspect's got his victim's attention in the frozen food section, while the other grabbed an envelope out of his jacket pocket. The man had $2,700 in that envelope.
The suspects, both men in their 20s, took off in a red Toyota Corolla, but not before security cameras captured clear images of their faces.
