ROCHESTER, Ind. (WTHR) — The mother of three children killed at a bus stop in Fulton County in 2018 will not face charges for trying to attack the driver that hit them.

According to WNDU, a special prosecutor won't file charges against Brittany Ingle.

Ingle had to be removed from the courtroom in handcuffs after trying to attack Alyssa Shepherd.

It was Shepherd who hit and killed Ingle's 6-year-old twins, Mason and Xzavier Ingle, and 9-year-old daughter, Alivia Stahl.

An upcoming hearing will determine if Shepherd will be required to pay damages to the families of the victims.

Shepherd is currently serving a 10-year sentence. Four of the years were to be served in corrections and three years in home detention before Shepherd was to serve the final three years on probation. She is appealing her sentence.
