Man charged with attempted murder after shots fired at officer in Bargersville

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — A Bargersville man is now facing charges for allegedly shooting at police.

Andrew McQuinn is facing charges of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon and other domestic and gun-related charges.

On Sunday, police were responding to a call about a domestic incident involving a man and a woman when it happened.

The incident happened at an apartment complex off of Indiana 135 around 8 p.m.

When officers arrived, they saw what appeared to be the flash from a gun in their direction.

No one was hurt in the incident, but police arrested McQuinn.

Police found six shell casings and the gun outside the apartment.
