INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Metro Police have arrested a 32-year-old man for a deadly shooting on the southwest side Monday morning.
Steven Roe is being held on a preliminary charge of murder.
The shooting occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. near Hiatt and Miller Streets, just east of Belmont Avenue.
Police say the shooting was related to a stolen tow truck.
IMPD told Eyewitness News that the man who was killed was in the stolen truck when he was shot.
He has not been identified.
Police say Roe remained at the scene and did cooperate with officers.
The prosecutor will now have to make a decision on charges.
