BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WTHR) — It has been nearly eight years since Lauren Spierer went missing in Bloomington.
January 17 marks what would have been her 28th birthday.
Her mother, Charlene Spierer, tweeted a message renewing the call for answers and hoping "today is the day" that happens.
Lauren Spierer was last seen June 3, 2011 after a night at the bar with friends. She later went to an apartment where she was reported being seen leaving around 4:30 a.m.
