INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating after finding a woman dead in an alley. Someone happened to be walking by around 7:30 am Monday morning and noticed the body. It was behind these homes on 10th and Concord, which is on the west side, near Tibbs. Officers say it's still very early in the investigation, but they're trying to find out what happened.

“Homicide detectives have been called out, but there's no manner of death at this time that's obvious, so that will have to ruled through the coroner's office,” said IMPD Officer Genae Cook.

All they know at this point is that it was an adult woman. Police have also been talking with people who live nearby to try to figure out who that woman is.
