IMPD: Woman dead in West 33rd Street shooting

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of E. 33rd St.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indianapolis Metro police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead.

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of West 33rd Street.

Officers responded to the scene on a report of a person shot and found the victim, a woman in her late 20s, deceased.

Police said the incident apparently stemmed from a domestic dispute. A man is in custody.
