INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Metro police are investigating a shooting death on the near east side Sunday morning.
Just after 10:50 a.m. Sunday, IMPD officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Beville Avenue on a death investigation.
When officers arrived, they found a man unresponsive. He pronounced dead at the scene and later identified by the Marion County Coroner's office as 23-year-old Jordan Perry.
The coroner determined Perry died from a gunshot wound.
Detectives are investigating Perry's death as a homicide.
