INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indianapolis Metro Police detectives are investigating a pair of overnight shootings Saturday.

In each case, the wounded men are expected to recover.

Investigators believe the first shooting took place on the east side around midnight in the 2700 block of Kristen Drive, which is between Ritter and Emerson avenues.

The victim walked into Community East Hospital with a gunshot wound and aggravated assault detectives started their investigation.

The second shooting was reported just before 5:30 Saturday morning.

Officers were called to a gas station on the corner of Hanna Avenue and South East Street.

Officers "located a male with injuries that appeared consistent with a graze wound," according to IMPD.

The victim is in good condition.
