IMPD arrests 15-year-old in killing of 14-year-old on east side

The suspect is facing a preliminary charge of reckless homicide in the March shooting.

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives arrested a 15-year-old in the killing of 14-year-old Ke'Sean Jones in March.

The shooting happened March 10 at 4061 East 34th St. When officers arrived, they found Jones shot in the abdomen. He was rushed to Riley Hospital for Children in critical condition, but he didn't survive.

IMPD announced May 13, it had arrested a 15-year-old suspect and he is facing a preliminary charge of reckless homicide.
