Funerals arranged for two of the victims in quad murders

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Funeral plans have been finalized for two more of the victims in the Feb. 5 quadruple homicide on Indy’s far east side.

Family and friends will celebrate the lives of 19-year-old Jalen Roberts and his 20-year-old cousin Marcel Wills.

A visitation is planned at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located at 1301 North Goodlet in Indianapolis. It will be held Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon with the funeral service following.

Metro Police found Roberts and Wills along with Braxton Ford and Kimari Hunt, both 21, shot dead inside a Carriage House Apartment.

The family of Braxton Ford already announced a celebration of life starting with a visitation Feb. 21 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary located at 740 East 86th Street in Indianapolis. A Catholic mass service will follow on 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at St. Luke Catholic Church located at 7575 Holiday Drive East in Indianapolis.

Homicide investigators are relying heavily on clues from the public to try to bring the killer to justice.

IMPD has not released any details about what may have lead to the quadruple fatal shooting.
