PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - A corrections officer is now on the other side of the law after police say they caught her smuggling drugs into the Putnamville Prison.
Investigators say they found messages between Stephany Dawson and two of the inmates.
Dawson admitted to bringing a large amount of narcotics into the facility and was allegedly planning to bring more this weekend. When officers searched her car and room, they found methamphetamine, marijuana and tobacco.
