BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WTHR) – Brownsburg Police Department has arrested a man in connection to an armed bank robbery that happened Saturday.
Brownsburg police responded to reports of an armed robbery at Huntington Bank, located at 1531 N. Green Street around 10:37 a.m. on Dec. 7.
Police say when they arrived, they spoke with employees of the bank who advised them that a current customer, whom they know, had just robbed them.
The suspect was named by bank employees as 37-year-old Christopher Caselden of Brownsburg.
Caselden entered the bank and approached an employee and handed them a letter stating that he had a gun and needed a specific amount of money, according to police. The employee complied and Caselden exited the bank casually and left in his vehicle.
Brownsburg police confirmed through video footage that Caselden is the suspect and began to search for him and his vehicle with the assistance of IMPD and Caselden’s family.
Around 1 a.m. Sunday, Caselden was arrested without incident and transported to the Hendricks County Jail and charged with Armed Robbery, a Level 3 Felony, and is being held with no bond.
