BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WTHR) - Bloomington police are searching for a man wanted in a fatal shooting over the weekend.

An arrest warrant was issued Monday for De Juan Lamar Kelley. Kelley is wanted for murder and carrying a handgun without a license in connection with the shooting death of a man at a gas station early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a Circle S gas station on N. Walnut Street in Bloomington after receiving a report that a person had been shot. They found 39-year-old Michael T. Parker in the passenger seat of a vehicle at the gas station, suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck.

Parker was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are now asking anyone with information about Kelley's whereabouts to call Det. Jeff Rodgers at 812-339-4477. Police say Kelley should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen.
