3 Indianapolis teens face robbery charges in Hamilton Co.

The three 19-year-olds were arrested when police found items allegedly taken from two convenience stores.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Three Indianapolis teens are under arrest in Hamilton County for a pair of weekend robberies at convenience stores in Noblesville and Cicero.

Joel Atwater, Ian Massengale and Christian Rodriguez Galo are facing felony robbery charges, with Atwater looking at an additional felony charge for pointing a gun during one of the robberies. All are 19 years old, according to Noblesville Police.

The Village Pantry on Greenfield Avenue in Noblesville first reported an armed robbery early Saturday morning. Video showed two suspects enter the store around 2:50 a.m. and display a handgun and a knife while allegedly threatening the employee. 

They got away with money and other products.

Just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday, officers from the Cicero Police Department were called to the Shell gas station on S. Peru Street about another armed robbery that had just occurred.

A witness described a suspect vehicle that Noblesville officers located and stopped with three men inside. 

Police found several items as possible evidence associated with both robberies and three were arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office will decide on charges for the three.
