FRANKLIN, Ind. (WTHR) - Wednesday marks a grim anniversary in Johnson County.
It's been exactly 13 years since a boy and his stepmother were murdered there. Police are still looking for their killer.
Chynna Dickus and her 10-year-old stepson Blake Dickus were stabbed to death inside their Franklin home in the middle of the day back in 2006.
Despite hundreds of tips and leads, the case grew cold over the years.
Detectives say they still have hope. Last year, investigators said they were going to have some of the evidence retested, since there have been advances in science.
They are still offering a $25,000 reward for information in the case.
