NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - Several new Hamilton County road construction projects are scheduled to get underway starting Monday after Easter weekend.

According to the Hamilton County Highway Department website, the intersection of Greenfield Avenue and Howe Road will be closed for seven weeks starting Monday for the construction of a new roundabout. The intersection is scheduled to be a full closure to all traffic.

During the closure, traffic should use the signed detour route of Promise Road, 146th Street and Cumberland Road.

Also Monday, 126th Street is scheduled to close at Allisonville Road for approximately 20 days. Detour routes will be across 131st Street and 116th Street to Lantern Road. Homes along 126th Street can be accessed from Lantern Road.

Allisonville Road will remain open.

The timeline for both projects depends on favorable weather.
