INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Eyewitness News has learned the Needler's Fresh Market on Fox Road in the Geist area will be closing.

The former Marsh store was taken over by Needler's not even two years ago and has not been able to "sustain sales level(s) to remain profitable."

Thirty percent closeout pricing is set to begin Thursday, Jan. 17

Eyewitness News is told the closure will take place on Friday, Feb. 1.

"While we seek and relish opportunities for calculated, favorable growth, we must at times make some of the more difficult decisions for the success of the company as a whole," said Michael Needler Jr., President and CEO.

Employees will be able to interview for other opportunities in the Indianapolis area.

The remaining 11 other Needler's locations in Indiana and Ohio will remain open.
