HEBRON, Ind. (WTHR) - A naked man disappeared into a northwest Indiana cornfield with police in hot pursuit Wednesday.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department said the man was spotted around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hebron, wearing only a hat and carrying a beer as he ran down SR 55, according the Times of Northwest Indiana. After five officers responded to the road and found the man, he ran across a highway and into the cornfield.

Police called firefighters for help searching for the man, but they were unable to locate him, even after utilizing a drone to look from above.
