Myles Turner, Robert Mathis lead Celebrity Softball Challenge teams

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The 10th Annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge brought together stars from the Colts and the Pacers on Thursday.

The event at Victory Field raised funds for the Indiana Children's Wish Fund, a group that grants wishes to Indiana children.

The event featured headliners Robert Mathis, an Indianapolis Colts fan favorite, and Myles Turner from the Indiana Pacers.

"Awful good cause," said Mathis. "The support has been tremendous, a tribute to the fans, it’s all because of them. It grows every year, people look forward to it."

The event is named in memory of Caroline Symmes, a Wish child who took part in the first softball challenge. She died in 2009.
