PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (WTHR) - A wrong way driver caused havoc on a busy interstate highway and led police on a wild chase Monday afternoon.

It happened near Philadelphia International Airport on Interstate 95. A passing vehicle captured some of the incident on camera as officers chased the speeding car driving in the wrong direction of the highway lanes.

The car struck several vehicles, and the video shows a head-on collision near Highway 420 in Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania.

Police said "multiple" people were hurt, but none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

NBC10 said it began at the airport when a man inside a black Ford F-150 was stopped outside a terminal. When officers honked at the truck, the driver, later identified as Anthony Colabove, 41, drove off, jumped the median and started southbound on I-95 in the northbound lanes.

Colabove was held and taken to a hospital in stable condition. He faces DUI-drug and drug possession charges.
