MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — A woman convicted in the death of her son with special needs will spend more than three decades behind bars.

Prosecutors say Meghan Price and her boyfriend conspired to kill 5-year-old Brayson by suffocating him and overdosing him on medicine.

Jurors found Price guilty on charges including neglect of a dependent resulting in death June 12. Late last month, a Morgan County jury found her boyfriend, Steven Ingalls, guilty on all counts against him.

On Tuesday, Price was sentenced to 36 years in prison for her role in Brayson's death, while Ingalls is serving a 39-year sentence for the charges of which he was convicted in the crime.
