It was another interesting winter storm system. Central Indiana had rain, sleet and snow. The steadiest snow fell just north of Indianapolis and there are lots of reports of 1-3 inches of snow and slush across the northern half of the state. Main roads will be wet with some slush overnight. Untreated side streets and neighborhood roads will be snow/sleet covered and slick. With some additional snow overnight and early Thursday, roads will be slick for the Thursday morning drive. Be prepared for school delays and be prepared for a slow start to your Thursday.

This storm departs and arctic air arrives. Temperatures will fall into the teens Thursday afternoon and into the single digits for Friday morning.

It will be a cold Valentine's Day, with highs only near 20. This cold won't last long, as high temperatures will be near 40 on Saturday and in the middle 40s on Sunday.
