More scattered storms on the way with a chance for severe weather

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTHR) — Scattered storms moved around Indiana yesterday and there's more on the way today with a marginal risk for severe weather south of Indianapolis.

However, there's a stalled boundary over the state today. Rain and storms develop with the heat of the day along this boundary, so watch for flooding in the heavy rain areas. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s.

More thunderstorms are likely through tomorrow and a few storms on Tuesday could also be strong to severe.

This "stalled" boundary finally pushes through early Wednesday and will quiet our weather pattern down. Isolated storms will be possible late in the day on Thursday and Friday but nothing of significance.

Above normal temperatures will continue into the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
