The rain started yesterday morning and still continues this morning. Yesterday, Indianapolis had 1.30” of rain.

It didn’t come close to the record of 2.56” in 1961, however, it was still a lot of rain.

This afternoon will be dry and breezy with a gradual clearing of the skies. Winds will be gusty at times, from 30 to 35 mph.

Afternoon highs climb into the low 60s.

It will be mostly clear and chilly Saturday morning. The winds will still be up, preventing frost from developing. Temperatures will fall into the low 40s.

It will be a cool but dry start for the Race for the Cure.

There could be some rain during the Mutt Strut.

Rain chances return by late morning Saturday.

Clouds will increase with rain becoming likely again from west to east by mid afternoon.

Afternoon highs will only climb to near 60 degrees.

Rain will continue into Saturday evening, tapering off before midnight. Overnight lows fall into the low 40s.

Sunday will be brighter and dry but brisk. Winds will be out of the northeast from 10 to 15 mph.

A wet pattern takes over the work week with daily chances of rain through Friday.
