A million people. That's how many applicants Amazon said it received during its career day this week.

The virtual event attracted job seekers from more than 170 countries, the company said.

Full-time employees will receive health insurance on day one, a 401(k) with a company match and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.

Streaming services plan price increases

Hulu prices are going up a buck next month. Subscribers will pay $6.99 instead of $5.99 - and 12.99 for the ad-free version.

But because Hulu is owned by Disney, they're encouraging customers to bundle.

If you get both Disney+ and Hulu, it's $13.99 a month with the ads.
