INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – The computer and information technology field is expected to grow by 12 percent by the year 2028, adding around 550,000 new jobs.
According to a study, Indianapolis is standing out as a great city to reap the benefits of that growth.
In Smart Asset's sixth annual study on the best cities for women in tech, Indianapolis ranks 14th.
The study found that 25 percent of the tech jobs in the city were filled by women.
They also predict a 30 percent growth in tech jobs in Indy over the next four years.
