Impossible Foods' plant-based meat coming to Disney Parks

Disney is expanding their food options by teaming up with Impossible Foods to bring their plant-based meats to the parks' menu.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (WTHR) – Disney is expanding their food options by teaming up with Impossible Foods to bring their plant-based meats to the parks' menu.

Disney and Impossible Foods made the announcement on social media Tuesday.


Through the partnership, the Impossible Burger will be designated as the “Preferred Plant-Based Burger '' of Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort and Disney Cruise Line, according to a release.

Back in Sept. 2019, Disney announced its plans to add plant-based options at all major quick and table service dining locations in their U.S. theme parks.

"The Impossible Burger has been a fan favorite since its launch in 2016 and requires 87 percent less water and 96 percent less land than ground beef from cows," Disney said in a release.

More than 400 plant-based dishes are now available at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, and more will be available at Disneyland Resort in California in spring 2020.
