INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The Federal Communications Commission has issued an alert about a new wave of "one ring" robocalls.
These types of phone calls try to bait you into calling the number back which can result in you being billed charges as if you called a "900" number.
Robocallers typically call specific area codes repeatedly, often late at night.
The latest of these calls are using the "222" area code from West Africa.
You can file a complaint with the FCC here if you have ever received these calls.
