(WTHR) — If you'll need something a little stronger than chocolate this holiday season, Aldi may be the place for you to celebrate the countdown to Christmas.
For the first time in the United States, the bargain grocery store is offering an advent calendar with wine instead of the traditional chocolate or other gifts.
The set will comes with two mini-bottles of 12 different wines:
- Prosecco Extra Dry, Italy
- Chardonnay, Australia
- Chenin Blanc, South Africa
- Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
- White Zinfandel, USA
- Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia
- Pinot Grigio, Italy
- Malbec, Argentina
- Shiraz, Australia
- Red Blend, Italy
- Merlot, Chile
- Sauvignon Blanc, Chile
Aldi's website indicates quantities are limited, and customers will be limited to buying only one calendar. The calendars will be available beginning Nov. 7, but not at every store location.
