LANSING, Mich. (WTHR) — A Michigan woman is upset after the unicorn cake she ordered for her daughter's birthday didn't exactly turn out how she expected.

Alexandra Schroeder provided Whipped Bakery in Lansing, Michigan with a photo for reference of what she wanted the cake to look like. The final result was far from it.

"The horn came out in a shape that was so embarrassing," Schroeder told WILX. "It had finger prints on it and was not gold."

Schroeder said the bakery wouldn't let her see what the cake looked like before the party.

She paid the bakery nearly $400 to host the party and make the cake. She said she doesn't want her money back, she just wants to let other potential customers know about her experience.

She shared the photos on social media, and the bakery's staff accused her of trashing the place and not paying her fee in full.

The bakery wouldn't comment when WILX reached out about the story, saying they'd handle the incident in court.
