INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Miller Lite is taking multi-tasking to a whole new level with a recently announced can of beer that also acts as a video game controller — that's right, a Cantroller.

The invention is innovative, but don't get ahead of yourselves. Players can't drink the beer while playing (without making a big mess, anyway), but the controller technology works both before opening and after finish the drink.

The Cantroller has a lithium-ion battery that lasts three hours and a micro-USB port to plug in and recharge. It also comes with Bluetooth technology and haptic feedback, ensuring every button has an active response when you press them.

"We believe beer and gaming have always gone together," Miller Lite said on its website. "Now, for the first time, they literally do."

The innovation is part of a push by Miller Lite to grow interest from gamers. Miller Lite also launched a Twitch channel in conjunction with the Cantroller. Gaming fans can tune into Twitch to see people play video games live.
