Michigan Road crash leaves 5 injured, 3 critically

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Five people were hurt, three critically, in a collision involving three cars Thursday on the northwest side.

It happened at 9:26 p.m. in the 4700 block of Michigan Road, which is near Cold Spring Road.

The Indianapolis Fire Department had to extricate two adult women from one of the vehicles. They were taken to hospitals in critical condition.

An adult male was ejected from a second vehicle and was also in critical condition when transported to a hospital.

An adult male and adult female in a third car were less-seriously injured and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Metro police are investigating the crash.
