Metro Police officer stuck by needle during pat down


INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Police have a man under arrest after a chase that ended with a Metro Police officer getting stuck by a needle.

It started when an officer tried to pull over the driver near 28th St. & Sherman Ave. on the east side.

The driver tried to run away after a short chase. Police took him down with a stun gun, and the officer got stuck by a needle during a pat down.

We're working to find out what started the chase and the charges the driver will face.
