Mecum's Spring Classic brings collector cars to Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The Mecum Original Spring Classic begins Tuesday at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, bringing an estimated 2,000 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes and hot rods to the auction block.

It's open to sellers, buyers and spectators just interested in seeing the cars.

General admission tickets are available at the gate and online for $30 per day. Children 12 and younger get in for free.

The event opens every day at 8 a.m. with auctions starting at 10 a.m. If you can't make it to the fairgrounds, NBC Sports Network is broadcasting more than 23 hours of auction coverage, including 12 hours of live coverage. Watch a live stream of the entire auction at
