Mayor Joe Hogsett, Sen. Jim Merritt to face off in debate ahead of election

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – With just weeks before election day, two of the candidates running for Mayor of Indianapolis are facing off.​

Mayor Joe Hogsett and Senator Jim Merritt will debate topics impacting the African American community Monday.

The African American Coalition of Indianapolis will moderate the event.

The debate starts at 6:30 p.m. at Arsenal Tech High School.

There is one more debate scheduled before election day on November 5.
